Merai wanted an image that was apealing to the eye and that could enhance the power of the story.
in conversations on our grading session we found out that we would take the grading to a contrasty image, influenced by 35mm film texture and color.
it was a fun process as she explained the meanings behind this story and that helped a lot for us to achieve the final look.
